In October 2021 the congregation of BIG Church celebrated the anniversary of the formation of this new Benefice Service. Steve and Debbie Godsell responded to an idea from Ashleworth parishioners to form a new style of service, relevant to 21st Century lifestyles, which helps people understand their beliefs and answers some of those 'big' questions.
One year on, and the Benefice Intergenerational Gathering (BIG) is still going strong, providing a service with readings, prayers, music, and a short sermon, followed by tea, coffee and biscuits .... but this week we shared a delicious birthday cake to celebrate!
