New Service for All Ages

Ever thought about going to church… but don’t?

  • Do you have a faith, but you just aren't sure of it, or what it means to you?
  • Perhaps you don’t have time to explore your faith?
  • Is traditional church too ‘formal’ for your needs?

The West of Severn Benefice is delighted to announce a new service held at Ashleworth Church every Sunday at 11am, which is relevant to 21st Century lifestyles, help you understand your beliefs and answer some of those ‘big’ questions. The service is very informal and aimed at all age groups, but is not a ‘family service’ as such.

You can watch a short video of this service here.

We aim for a short service (45 minutes max.) with no long passages to read from the service book. Come as you are… and if that means straight from your dog walk and still in boots, that’s fine! There is music - a few hymns & songs, with a mix of the older favourites and something new! Accompaniment is often contemporary in keeping with the style of service. You can expect short readings and the odd video clip, but you won’t be expected to clap and wave your hands in the air! The sermon is short, with a message to take away for the week ahead.

Refreshments of tea and coffee are available after the service.
