At home together - It Wasn't Me!
Listen to the story 'It Wasn't Me!' and think about these questions:
One of Jesus' friends called Peter wasn't honest. When the disciples were having their final meal together (The Last Supper) Jesus knew he was going to be arrested and he said to Peter "Before the cockerel crows, you will say 3 times that you don't know me". Peter was sure that he wouldn't do that, but sure enough soon after Jesus was arrested someone said to him "You were with that man called Jesus" and Peter replied "NO! I don't know him" and then the cockerel crowed just as Jesus said it would.
A prayer about telling the truth: Dear God, Help me to try to tell the truth even when it is hard. When I have done something wrong, remind me to say 'sorry' and own up to what I have done. I know that you forgive me when I say sorry. Amen
Have a go at making the craft. Your dog doesn't have to be brown; he could be spotty, or black, or you could add fur to make him fluffy. Or, you could make a dog out of Lego or paint a picture of a dog. Give it a name!
