Discovery Group starting on Sunday 8th 4-6pm

Life, faith, God, church, religion; these are all areas we often have questions about. Our new discovery group is starting on 8th September 4-6pm and will try to answer questions on these and other subjects. We’d like to invite you to come along for a great time of conversation, talks and food over an 8 week course where we can explore these things together. For more details, contact Revd. Steve Godsell on 07752 463536 or email curate.westof7@gmail.com

Benefice Day of Prayer 9am – 5pm Saturday 28th

C.S.Lewis wrote, “I pray because I can’t help myself. I pray because I am helpless. I pray because the need flows out of me all the time, waking and sleeping. It doesn’t change God. It changes me.”

On Saturday 28th September 2019 between 9 & 5pm, Corse church will be open specifically for prayer and for those who wish to be prayed for. There will be a number of activities to do, as well as quiet spaces to spend time talking to God and listening. We would like to invite you to pop along and spend an hour in the church or you can commit to praying there for an hour at a time which suits you; sign up sheets will be available in all seven churches from the end of August.

If there is something you would like prayed for, a friend, an illness, or a situation, there will be people on hand to pray for you. This is a great opportunity to pause for a moment from the business of life.

United 5th Sunday Service 10.30am Sunday 29th

A Communion Service with the music group celebrating Tirley Church’s patronal festival.
